Johnston City- KATHLEEN GRIFFIN-FULFORD, age 57, of rural Johnston City, passed away at 3:38pm on Wednesday November 30, 2005 at her residence in rural Johnston City. Kathleen was born on August 31, 1948 in Williamson County to Betty June (Stone) and Woodrow Staffey. She married Donald E. Griffin on July 28, 1967. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1998. Mrs. Fulford attended the Bryan Street Baptist Church in Herrin. She was an LPN at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Survivors include- Daughter and Son-In-Law- Donna and Jim Bonali- Marion, IL Son- Jeff Griffin- Marion, IL Sister and Brother-in-law- Becky and Elisha Doolin- West Frankfort, IL Sister and Brother-in-law- Woodie and Greg Romines- Johnston City, IL Sister and Brother-in-law- Ruby and Bill Lannom- Marion, IL Sister and Brother-in-law- Ellie and Danny Bigler- Carterville, IL Sister- Laura Bourland Brother and Sister-in-law- Ben and Cathy Staffey- West Frankfort, IL Half Brothers- Jim, Sam and Paul Staffey Half Sisters- Jackie Rodman, Linda Haar, and Judy Talkington She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald. Funeral services for Kathleen will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday December 4, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with the Rev. Duane Faulkenberry officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Herrin. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 3, 2005 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
