Kathlyn Bell

MARION- Kathlyn Bell, age 90, of Marion, passed away at 4:00am on Saturday October 1, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Kathlyn was born in Marion on October 14, 1914, the daughter of Clarence and Sarilda (Parsons) Durall. She married Ray Bell in Murphysboro in December of 1931. He survives in Marion. Mrs. Bell was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Marion. Survivors include- 2 sons and daughters-in-law- Harold W. and Lois Bell- West Frankfort, IL Jerry N. and Kay Bell- Benton, IL 4 grandchildren- Randy and Beverly Reed- Harrisburg, IL Ray C. and Cindi Bell- Marion, IL Jerry Joe and Cathy Bell- Benton, IL Lisa Suzanne Bell-Benton, IL 7 great grandchildren- Spec. Bradley Reed- Fort Hood, TX Carey Jeanne Reed- Indianapolis, IN Anthony Bell- Marion, IL Caitlin Bell- Benton, IL Courtney Bell-Benton, IL Andrew Bell- Benton, IL Josh Bell- Benton, IL 1 great great grandchild- Noah Reed- Harrisburg, IL 1 brother- Mac Durall- Marion, IL 2 sisters- Lois Jean Burks- Marion, IL Margaret Hartwell- Marion, IL Funeral services for Mrs. Kathlyn Bell will be held at 11:00am Monday October 3, 2005, at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. A visitation will be held from 9am until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Marion Second Baptist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available and memorials will be accepted at the funeral home.
