An angel was needed in Heaven on Monday, June 4, 2007 when God summoned Kedan Gregory Seagraves to come home. A heart of gold stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove, he only takes the best. Kedan was a special child born in Carbondale on July 22, 2002 to the loving parents James Gregory Seagraves (formerly of Hartsville, TN) and Sandra (Knusta) Seagraves of Herrin. Kedan brought so much joy to his family. Each time more than one word was said, it was a great triumph. Autism brought with it so many quirks and he was a great teacher to his family. God gave him to us for a short time to cherish and called him back at four years, ten months, and thirteen days.
Kedan loved going to school. He attended the SIU Autism Center and was a student at Northside Pre-K.
