Keith Allen Orso

Herrin- Keith Allen Orso, 54, of Herrin, passed away at 3:30 AM, Saturday, September 26, 2009 at his home in Herrin. Keith was born on October 16, 1954 in Garden City, MI to Donald Lee & Dorothy Lou (Duncan) Orso. He was baptized at an early age at Hurricane Memorial Baptist Church in Herrin. He formerly worked at Old Ben Coal # 26 as a buggy runner and then in logistics at Aisen in Marion. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting in the outdoors. Survivors include- Son- Kyle Orso & wife Megan of Herrin Step Daughter- Tia Loyd of Herrin Step mother- Marilyn Orso of Herrin Brother- Bruce Orso & wife Liz of Herrin Step Sister- Ivana Swan of Herrin Step Sister- Consi Kubitz & husband Ed of Lake of Egypt Close friends- Brenda Triplett, Derick Odam & Family Several nieces & nephews He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Rev. Jerry Schell will officiate. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at graveside. Memorial arrangements were made at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations are suggested to Lone Oak Baptist Church and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home/ 201 S. 13th St/ Herrin, IL 62948.
