Kenneth E. Walker

Herrin- KENNETH E. WALKER, age 67, of Herrin, passed away in Wayne County, Illinois on Thursday, August 16, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kenneth was born in Herrin on July 14, 1940, the son of Anna Mae (Whittington) Hampton and Frank Walker. He married Judy (Maze) Walker in Herrin on November 14, 1969 and together they shared 37 years of marriage. Judy survives in Herrin. Survivors include his wife- Judy Walker of Herrin, IL Son- Kenneth Michael and Cathy Walker of Marion, IL Daughter- Karen LeAnn Walker of Clarksville, IN Daughter- Judy and Oscar Richardson of Johnston City, IL Daughter- Kendra and Nathan Trask of Herrin, IL Ten Grandchildren- Sara, Mikayla, and Alyssa Walker of Marion, IL Kristen Starnes of Clarksville, IN Justin and Jessica Richardson of Johnston City, IL William, Desirae, Jerald, and Kyle Trask of Herrin, IL Two great grandchildren Two brothers- Frank and Diane Walker of Herrin, IL Raymond and Daisy Walker of Herrin, IL One sister- Ruth Shadowens of Flora, IL Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, August 20, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:30pm on Monday, August 20, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
