Kevin Killion

Marion Kevin Reid Killion, 44, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 5:30 P.M. at his home in Marion. Kevin was born October 6, 1961 in Springfield, IL to Robert and Florence Oatts. He married Julie Smith in Marion on May 4, 2001. She survives in Marion. Mr. Killion was a member of the Second Baptist Church as well as a past member of the Masonic Lodge. Kevin was a retired US Army Veteran, having served during the first Gulf War. Survivors include: Wife- Julie (Smith) Killion- Marion, IL Mother- Florence Oatts- Philadelphia, PA Daughter- Jennifer Killion- Barstow, CA Son- Chris Hacker- Johnston City, IL Daughter- Chelsea Osinski- Arlington, TX Brother- Tommy Killion- Philadelphia, PA Sister and Brother-In-Law- Sheri and Darrel Tardy- Indianapolis, IN Sister and Brother-In-Law- Debbie and Mike Morrow- Philadelphia, PA Nephew- Mike Morrow- Philadelphia, PA Nephew- Steven Morrow- Philadelphia, PA Nephew- David Thompson- Johnston City, IL Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Robert. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. Military rites will be performed by Marions VFW Post #1301 and American Legion Post #147 following the service at Mitchell-Hughes.
