Marion-Kevin “Kip” Ray Riggs, 58, passed away at 7:11pm on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the VA Medical Center. Kevin was born on October 21, 1956 in Chicago, to James Ray and Helen Tracy (Matson) Volney. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked for the VA for over 30 years. Survivors include: Significant other-Diana Schenk of Eddyville, KY Her children: Melissa Miller (Kevin) of Kuttawa, KY Tara Parker (Bobby) of Kuttawa, KY Timothy Schenk (Angie) of Eddyville, KY Joshua Schenk (Jennifer) of Eddyville, KY Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2pm at Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home with V.A. Chaplain Lisa Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
