Kevin Michael Phelps

Kevin Michael Phelps, age 67, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.

Kevin was born November 13, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Thomas and Vivian (Augustine) Phelps. He had been employed as an over the road truck driver. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by two children, Amy (Jeremy Williams) Spiller and Christopher Phelps; three grandchildren, Gage Boomer, Drake Boomer, and Raeleah Spiller; and his Great Grandson, Oliver Reed Boomer. He is preceded in death by one son, Shawn Phelps and his parents, Thomas and Vivian (Augustine) Phelps.

Memorial services to celebrate Kevin's life are pending. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
