Carbondale Kimberly Lynn Collins, 31, died Sunday at 5:24 A.M. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Kimberly was born September 09, 1972 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Jan Groscop Collins and Richard L. Collins. On September 21, 2001 Kimberly and Jen LeDuc were joined in a Blessed Union at Acadia National Park in Maine, she survives in Carbondale.
Kimberly was a Counselor in the Womens Center in Carbondale. She was a casemanager at Abundant Health, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, an active volunteer in many service organizations across the country and she was a Gold Star in the Girl Scouts. Kimberly was a friend to all and was happiest when helping others. Kimberly was a member of the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 17th at 10:00 A.M. at the Zion United Church of Christ with Rev. Kenneth Kramer and Father Chris Piasta officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 P.M. 9 P.M. at the church. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is handling arrangements.
