LeMae was born December 8, 1926 in Franklin County, Illinois to Hagle & Delpha (Wall) Williams. She married Harold Joe Melvin on January 5, 1945 at West Frankfort.
Harold survives.
She was a member of the Southpoint Church of God in West Frankfort. She was also a homemaker.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at the South Point Church of God in West Frankfort with Rev. Tod Parchman officiating. Burial will follow at East Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at the South Point Church of God.
Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
