Larry Dean Midgett

Larry Dean Midgett, 62, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:01 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Larry was born August 7, 1955 in Marion the son of Carl and Mary (Tondini) Midgett. He married Paula Roe on September 27, 2003 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and together they have shared over 14 years of marriage. He retired from the Marion Federal Penitentiary after 30 years. Survivors include his; Wife – Paula Midgett of Marion Step-son – David Roe of Bloomington, Indiana Step-son – Joseph Roe of Greenville Sister – Betty Sexton (Joe) of O’Fallon Three brothers; Dennis Midgett (Renee) of Marion Bob Midgett of Marion Donnie Midgett (Ruthie) of Marion Best Friend – Mike Murphy of Herrin Nephew – Carl Midgett of Marion Niece – Megan Baker of Marion A memorial time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 10 am – 12 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
