Larry G. Nance

Bush- LARRY G. NANCE, age 64, of Bush, passed away at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home in Bush. Larry was born in Anna on August 31, 1947. He married Patricia Thompson in Bush on October 11, 1980. She survives. Before retiring, Larry worked as a landscaper at Plantscape Nursery in Herrin. Survivors include his wife- Patricia Nance of Bush Sister- Patricia Fay Nance of Wabash, IN Sister- Donna Kay Reams of Wabash, IN Brother- John L. and Jenny Reams of Herrin Brother- Ray and Modelle Nance of Wabash, IN Sister-in-law- Carolyn and Wink Crowley of Fort Myers, FL Sister-in-law- Sondra Russell of Bush Sister-in-law- Vikki and Jack Phillips of Bush Brother-in-law- Jim and Marty Thompson of Weldon, IL Brother-in-law- John and Patsy Thompson of Arenzville, IL Numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends His special little buddy- Dozer He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father- Lola (Williams) and John Reams, father- Thomas Nance, mother-in-law and father-in-law- Bud and Irma Thompson, twin brother- Gary Nancy, Sister- Margie L. Nance, brother-in-law- Joey Thompson, great niece- Crystal Thompson, and great nephew- Joey Crowley. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. James Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by Herrins American Legion and VFW Posts with assistance from the United States National Guard Honor Detail Unit. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
