Laura M. DeZouche

Herrin- Laura M. DeZouche, age 90, of Herrin, passed away at 8:57am on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Herrin Hospital. Laura was born in Carbondale on April 26, 1917, the daughter of Robert and Daisy (Whitehead) Kelly. She married Curtis M. Elston. He preceded her in death in 1963. She married Ira DeZouche on October 31, 1970 in Morganfield, KY. He preceded her in death in June of 1975. Mrs. DeZouche was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Survivors include- son and daughter-in-law- Lynn and Juanita Elston- Carterville, IL son and daughter-in-law- Aubrey and Sharon Huskey- San Diego, CA Daughter and son-in-law- Janet and Mike Williams- Spring Branch, TX Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and one son- Larry Huskey. Private graveside services will be held at Snyder Hill Cemetery in Carbondale. Funeral services are being handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
