Lena B. Norman, age 104, died Sunday, May 13th at 6:20 P.M. at Marion Memorial Hospital.
Visitation for Mrs. Norman will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 15th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Marion with Dr. Joey Brent officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Memorials may be given to Marion First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Norman was born August 30, 1896 in Eddyville to George & Mary Margaret (Fox) Williams. They preceded her in death. Mrs. Normans first husband, Oscar Cline, preceded her in death, as did her second and third husbands, Everett Guerin and Estes Norman.
She was also preceded in death by two step-daughters, Lena Ruth Allen & Gayle Barger; two brothers, Homer & Walter Williams; and four sisters, Rose Miller, Ann Burgess, Gertrude Primm, and Clara Dillow.
Mrs. Norman is survived by one step-daughter, Carol McCluskie, six step-grandchildren, Raylene Allen Latta, Stephen Allen, Arthur Cline, Kent & Kraig McCluskie, and Karen Caires; and Nine step-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Marion First Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for 51 years. She was a member of the Womans Club for 60 years, a member of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine, and she had worked as a Gray Lady at the Veterans Hospital Library for many years. Mrs. Norman had also been a sales clerk at Hays Department Store (and other stores) on the Marion Square.
