Herrin Leo C. Dailey, 77, died Friday, November 07, 2003 at 11:55 P.M. at Herrin Hospital.
Leo was born April 16, 1926 to Ross and Mable (Robinson) Dailey in Bush, Illinois. He married Mary (Mainini) Dailey on April 24, 1954 in Corinth, MS and she survives in Herrin.
Leo retired from Southern Illinois University where he was the Groundskeeper for Abe Martin Field for 24 years. Mr. Dailey was also a member of Community of Faith in Herrin and a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and Past Member of Shriners and Herrin Prairie # 693 Masonic Lodge

Funeral services will be Monday, November 10th at 1:00 P.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Todd Greiner officiating. Burial will follow in Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville, IL. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
