Leroy Graves

Crab Orchard Leroy Graves, 69, of Lyons, Illinois formerly of Crab Orchard, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2005 at McNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois. Leroy was born to McKinley and Lula (Angel) Graves on December 25, 1935 in Williamson County. Leroy attended grade school in the Angelville community and graduated from Crab Orchard High School in 1954. He proudly served in country in the Army, stationed in Germany. Leroy retired from Western Electric in Sicero, Illinois. He owned, along with his son Randy, and operated the 26th Street Garage in North Riverside, Illinois. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Brookfield, Illinois. Survivors include: Three Sons; Marty Graves and wife Lori of Darien, Illinois Tim Graves and wife Theresa of Bloomingdale, Illinois Randy Graves of Palos Hills, Illinois Three Grandchildren; Haley Graves Danielle Joe Former wife Elaine (Stewart) Graves of Palos Hills, Illinois Four Brothers; Charles Graves and wife Imogene of Crab Orchard Sam Graves and wife Audrey of Mendon, Illinois Jim Graves of Herculaneum, Missouri John Graves of Marion Sister Velma Lynn and husband Mel of Marion Sister-in-law Louise Graves of Marion Preceded by: Parents, Brother Kenneth Graves and Sister-in-law Barbara Graves Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
