Leslie Szabo

August 25, 1933 — July 20, 2015

Leslie Szabo, 81, of Marion passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:20 am at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Szabo was born August 25, 1933 in Hungary. He worked at Lutheran Social Services, Illinois Department of Unemployment Security and did clerical work for the Marion Carnegie Library. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by two sons. Mr. Szabo will be cremated and it was his wish to have his ashes scattered at sea off the coast of Naples, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. There will be no local services. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting with arrangements.
