Letha M. McMurray

Herrin- Letha Mae McMurray, 81, of Herrin, passed away peacefully at 10:40PM at Fountains Nursing Home on February 24, 2006 with her family close by. She was born on May 21, 1924 in Williamson County to Raymond & Hulda (Harris) Talley. She married Howard McMurray on August 28, 1948 in Paragould, Ark. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1961. She was retired from Norge Co, where she worked in Quality Control. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: Sister- Lela Terry- Marion Nieces: Brenda Hendrickson & husband Gary- Marion Guyla Tripp & husband Charlie- DuQuoin Great Nephews: Terry Hendrickson- Goreville Jeff Hendrickson- Marion Aaron Tripp- DuQuoin Great Niece- Veronica Hendrickson- Marion Two Great Great Nephews Two Great Great Nieces One Great Great Great Niece She was preceded in death by her parents & husband. As per her wishes, she will be cremated and inurned next to her husband at Mulkeytown Cemetery. Memorial arrangements were handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
