Lillian L. Anderson

Lillian L. Anderson, age 84, of Marion, died Tuesday, June 12th at 6:25 P.M. at Parkway Manor in Marion. Lillian was born July 2, 1916 to George and Clara L. (Houlsher) Anderson in Marion. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother. Lillian was retired from the City of Marion Water Department. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion, the Marion Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and she had been an active worker in the Soup Kitchen. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 16th, with the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Melva G. England will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Marion or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
