Lillie Zwick

Herrin- Lillie Zwick, 93, of Herrin, passed away at 10:48pm on Wednesday July 20, 2005 at the Herrin Hospital. Lillie was born October 16, 1911 in Hanley, England, to Harry M. and Jane Hart. She married Leon Zwick on June 11, 1931 in Harrisburg, IL. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1994. Mrs. Zwick was a very active member of the United Hebrew Temple in Benton and the Jewish Federation of Southern Illinois. She loved to travel the world and especially enjoyed taking cruises. Lillie was very involved with the Shagbark Girl Scouts and the Herrin Womans Club. Survivors Include- 3 sons- Jack Zwick and wife Anita- Fort Myers, FL Burton Zwick and wife Sue- Summit, NJ Malcolm Zwick and wife Carol- Herrin, IL 1 daughter- Marilyn Storch and husband Jim- Herrin, IL 9 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren Preceded in death by- Her parents, one sister- Betsy Hart, two brothers- Harry and Sam B. Hart Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Sunday July 24, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, IL with Sam Goldman, Phd, officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Saturday July 23, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
