Johnston City Linda Kay Long, 61, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at 9:45 A.M. at St. Louis University Hospital.
Linda was born September 21, 1944 in Pana, Illinois to Rev. Tony & Pauline (Griffith) Jayne, Sr. She married Jim Long on January 22, 1964 in Johnston City and together they have shared over 42 years of marriage. He survives in Johnston City.
Linda was a Customer Advocate for Blue Cross & Blue Shield. She attended Energy United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Betty Mahaffey officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
For those who prefer memorials may be given to Eagle House Ministries or the Leukemia Research Foundation. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
