Lloyd Frank Belcher

Marion-LLOYD FRANK BELCHER, age 65, of Marion, passed away at 6:37am on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Frank was born on September 21, 1944 in St Louis, MO, the son of Floyd and Letha (Pogue) Belcher. He married Karen J. Irwin in Benton, KY on June 16, 1989. She preceded him in death on September 28, 2007. On March 24, 2008, he married Barbara Ponder in Marion. She survives. Frank worked as a hospital security guard. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Survivors include his wife- Barbara Belcher of Marion, IL Daughter- Pam and Bill Furrow of Hawaii Son- Michael Belcher of Pennsylvania Son- John and Amber Belcher of Virginia Step Son- Richard Brooks of Marion, IL Step Daughter- Brandee Swisher of East Peoria, IL Step Daughter- Elizabeth Giehm of Cedar Rapids, IA Five grandchildren- Katherine, Helen, Hannah, and Joseph Furrow of Hawaii Julian Belcher of Virginia Two brothers- Ray Belcher of Arkansas David Belcher of Texas He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Karen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion with military rites presented by Marions VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and National Guard Military Honors Team.
