Marion – Lois Mae Clark, 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 8:30 A.M. at her home surrounded by her family.
Lois was born March 20, 1923 in Williamson County the daughter of Walter and Lora (Swafford) Kelton. She married James H. Clark on March 11, 1939 and they shared over 68 years together until his death on December 1, 2007.
She accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Lois was a full time homemaker and cared for the needs of her family.
Survivors include;Two sons; James T. Clark and wife Kathy of Dix; Ronald Clark and wife Vickey of Marion; Daughter – Joyce Blades and husband Michael of Marion; Seven grandchildren; Jim Clark and wife DeAnna of Dix; Thom Clark and wife Michelle of Paducah, KY; Heather Jones and husband Steve of Cortland, NY; Heath Clark and wife Keri of Carterville; Kyle Clark and wife Nichole of Marion; Lisa Odum and husband Zach of Marion; Melissa Kornfeind and husband Ed of St. Louis, MO; Eleven great grandchildren; Lindsey Clark, Will Clark, Jameson Clark, Samantha Clark, Caitlin Jones, Hayden Jones, Taylor Clark, Cillian Clark, Molly Odum, Walker Odum and Eddie Kornfeind; Two sister-in-laws; Dorothy Clark of Carbondale; Ruth Clark of Elkville; Nieces; Helena Gardner of Poplar Bluff and Louise Gardner of Lawton, OK.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband – James Clark, Grandson – Michael Travis Blades, Brother – Fred Kelton, Sister – Ethel Gill and Half-Brother – Bill Baldwin.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. David Gilley and Thom Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
