Marion- Lola Ann Grider, 62, of Marion, passed away in the company of her children, grandchildren and friends at 6:40 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Herrin Hospital.
Lola was born on November 26, 1943 in Marion to Edward Boots & Imogene (Chamness) Grider.
Lola was best known for her ownership of the Red Baron Airport Restaurant and her management of the Marion Motel Restaurant. Later in life she worked at the Marion Wal-Mart. In recent years she was retired but continued to care for her mother and her friends. She was a collector of porcelain dolls and she enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her father, daughter, Robin Fofar, son, Dale Kivett Fofar, sister, Wanda Fuller, and one brother, Dale Grider.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Mark Hutson will officiate. A time of visitation and remembrance will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Lung Association or Leukemia Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
