Lola Dare

Lola C. Dare, 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 4:30 P.M. at Troy Manor Nursing Home in Troy, Missouri. Lola was born April 4, 1920 in Marion the daughter of George William & Antice Gladys (Worley) Cutrell. She married James L. Dare on June 16, 1944 in Marion, he preceded her in death on June 2, 1956. Lola retired from Giles Electric where she had worked as a Coil Winder for over 26 years. She was a member of 3rd Baptist Church of Marion for over 50 years. Lola is survived by her: Three Sons; James Michael Dare and wife Brenda of St. Charles, Missouri Sterling Patrick Dare and wife Sukanya of OFallon, Illinois George Stanley Dare and wife Mary Ann of St. Peters, Missouri Four Grandchildren; Michael Sean Dare and wife Jenn of Wentzville, Missouri Jesse Andrew Dare and wife Gretchen of St. Charles, Missouri Jaimie S. Bagwell and husband Danny of Quincy, Ohio Antice M. Dare of St. Peters, Missouri Three Great Grandchildren Andrew Hollis Dare of St. Charles, Missouri Brooklyn B. Bagwell of Quincy, Ohio Arbor A. Bagwell of Quincy, Ohio Two Sisters; George Ann Mayer of Cumming, Georgia Sharon Poindexter of Pocahontas, Arkansas Preceded by her Parents, Husband James, Brother William J. Cutrell and Sister Carlynn Helbig. Funeral services will be Monday, September 29, 2008 at 1 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Jerry Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
