Lora "Jeanni" J. Janiak

DuQuoin- Lora J. Jeanni Janiak, 59, of Riverdale, GA, passed away at 11:27 PM, Friday, March 21, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. Lora was born on October 12, 1948 in Wayne, MI to Rennie & Dorothy (Wilbanks) Bedar. She was baptized Catholic and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School in DuQuoin, IL. She graduated from DuQuoin High School. After graduation from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, she worked seventeen years as a customer service representative for Georgia Pacific in Atlanta. In her spare time, Lora enjoyed traveling, especially to Panama City, FL. She liked NASCAR and followed the antics of Tony Stewart. She enjoyed slot machines and spending time with the people she loved. Survivors include- Son & daughter in law- Matthew & Jamie Janiak of Lawrenceville, GA Mother- Dorothy Collins of DuQuoin, IL Beloved boyfriend & better half- Jerry McCormick of Riverdale, GA Brother- Rick Bedar of DuQuoin, IL Brother- Chuck Bedar of DuQuoin, IL Beloved Aunt- Marguerite Matyi She was preceded in death by her father- Rennie Bedar. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, IL is planning memorial arrangements.
