Loretta Cagle

Herrin- LORETTA CAGLE, 94, of Herrin, passed away at 1:25am on Wednesday May 4, 2005 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, IL. Loretta, daughter of Thomas and Annie Wilson Engler was born August 7, 1910 in Kentucky, and moved to Illinois at age 11. She married Charles E. Cagle on January 29, 1927. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1972. Mrs. Cagle was a homemaker, skilled in quilting and crocheting. She was a long time member of the Free Methodist Church in Chittyville, IL. Survivors include- 1 daughter and son-in-law- Evelyn and George E. Brazitis- Champaign, IL 4 grandchildren- Lynn E. (and husband Charles) Bruff- Mahomet, IL Terry A. (and husband Edward) Erwin- Lindenhurst, IL Gary E. (and wife Ruth) Brazitis- Westfield, IN Mark A. Brazitis- Oak Park, IL 5 great grandchildren- Corey Michael Bruff- Mahomet, IL Chelsey A. Bruff- Mahomet, IL Nicholas G. Brazitis- Westfield, IN Michael P. Brazitis- Westfield, IN Christopher E. Erwin- Lindenhurst, IL 1 sister- Shirley Beasley- Herrin, IL 1 sister-in-law- Wanda Engler Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by- Her husband- Charles E. Cagle Parents Infant daughter- Helen 4 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 nephews, and 3 brothers-in-law Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin on Saturday May 7, 2005 with Rev. Jerry Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday May 7, 2005 from 11am-1pm.
