Lorimer E. Hicks

Marion Lorimer E. Hicks, 76, died Friday, November 07, 2003 at 12:38 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Lorimer was born April 11, 1927 to Henry and Alice (Crowell) Hicks in Harrisburg. He married Irene Furlow on December 04, 1947 in Harrisburg and she survives in Marion. Lorimer was a General Baptist Minister for 55 years. He was retired from the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services, a member of 3rd Baptist Church in Marion, WWII Marine Veteran. Survivors include: Daughter Norma Endsley of Marion Son David Bramlet and wife Andra of Oldsmar, Florida Three (3) Grandchildren Seven (7) Great-Grandchildren Three(3) Great-Great-Grandchildren Preceded by: Parents, Two (2) Grandchildren, Four (4) Brothers and One (1) Sister Funeral services will be Sunday, November 09th at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Revs Gilbert Craig and Danny Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 A.M. to until the time of service at the funeral home.
