Lou Ann Bucher

Herrin- LOU ANN J. BUCHER, age 83, of Herrin passed away at 4:00pm on November 2nd, 2011 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center. Lou Ann was born on September 2nd, 1928 in Herrin, the daughter of Glenn G. and Edith (Burklow) Newcom. She married Allen F. Bucher, who preceded her in death on January 4th, 2010. Survivors include her Son- Rodger and Debbie Snyder of Mooresville, NC. Grandsons -Max Snyder and Zac Snyder of Wilmington, NC Brother- Glen Newcom and long term companion Loretta Woolsey of Herrin Sister-In-Law- Eileen Miller of Herrin Cousin- Marla and Mike Daff of Herrin She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. There will be a Graveside Service held for Mrs. Bucher on Monday, November 7th, 2011 at 11AM at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Marion. Rev Ralph Brandon will officiate. The family would like to give a special thanks to Shawnee Christian Nursing Center and staff of the Dream Island Wing.
