Lynn Rae Stephanou

Herrin- LYNN RAE STEPHANOU, age 57, of Herrin, passed away at 11:05pm on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Herrin Hospital. Lynn was born in Herrin on April 23, 1955, the daughter of Clarence Ray Bear and Maggie Eliza (Barnett) Robertson. She previously worked in retail sales. Lynn loved her cats and the special times she shared going out to eat with her sister. She especially loved any time she could spend with her family. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law- Liberty and Shane Steinmetz of Johnston City; Grandson- Coltan Steinmetz of Johnston City; Sister and brother-in-law- Ardyce and Michael Reed of Marion; and her good friend- Bob Sisky of Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Robert Jilek officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Tuesday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
