Marion Madge Lenora Fisher, 92, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 8:30 A.M. at her home in Marion.
Madge was born December 2, 1914 in Creal Springs the daughter of Volney Lafayette and Betty Lou (McRoy) Moore. She married Henry Adam Fisher on August 29, 1931 in Marion, they shared over 75 years of marriage until his death on December 5, 2006.
Madge retired after 25 years as a cook at Marion High School. She was a member of New Hope Church of God and several church organizations. Madge loved to garden, grow flowers and she enjoyed listening to gospel music.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Cindy Absher officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
