Maggie E. Robertson

Johnston City-MAGGIE ELIZA ROBERTSON, age 76, of Johnston City, passed away at 3:12 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Herrin Hospital. Maggie was born in Williamson County on November 23, 1934, the daughter of Lemma Iverson and Edna (Conroy) Barnett. She married Clarence Ray Robertson in Marion on August 26, 1954. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1999. Mrs. Robertson was a member of Harvest Time Worship Center in Herrin. Survivors include two daughters- Lynn Stephanou of Marion, IL Ardyce Faye and Michael Reed of Marion, IL Granddaughter (like a daughter)- Liberty Anne and Shane Steinmetz of Johnston City, IL Great Grandson- Coltan Ray Steinmetz of Johnston City, IL She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers- Joe and Jack Barnett. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, March 7, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Todd Hawk will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations are suggested to the Robertson family.
