Herrin- Margaret Carol Pisoni, 74, of Herrin, passed away at 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her daughter Leslies home in Ladue, MO.
Margaret was born on October 2, 1935 in Herrin to Natal & Louise (Ruggeri) De Muri. Margaret graduated from Herrin High School in 1953. She married Richard Pisoni on June 20, 1959 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Together they have shared more than fifty one years together.
She was a graduate of De Paul School of Nursing in St. Louis and was a registered nurse. She worked several years as a nurse at the Marion VA Hospital and then later as the head nurse of the Carbondale Clinic.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin and the Daughters of Mary. She was also a friend of Herrin City Library.

Son- John Pisoni and wife Stacy of Carbondale

Grandchild- Haven Faith Pisoni
Sister- Madelon Newman of Florissant, MO
Brother- Marion De Muri and wife Virginia of Florissant, MO

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother- J.C. DeMuri and dear uncle and aunt- Charles and Josephine Rogers.
The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2010 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Entombment will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 5-9:00 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday evening at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
