Margarette "Margie" Holderfield

Herrin- Margarette “Margie” Holderfield, age 96, of Herrin, passed away at 6:11am on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Herrin Hospital. Margarette was born in Goreville on July 3, 1920, the daughter of William Grover and Madge (Lovelace) Francis. She married Victor Edwin Wieland and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1996. She later married Floyd Holderfield who also preceded her in death in March of 2001. Mrs. Holderfield had retired from Norge. Survivors include- Son- F.E. “Ed” Wieland of Herrin Son- Buddy and Janice Wieland of Herrin Daughter- Phyllis Kubala of Breckenridge, MI Five Grandchildren- Nicole and Tom Maliga of Atoka, TN Brett and Mona Wieland of Herrin Donna Franta of Breckenridge, MI Anthony J. and Ellen Kubala of Trenton, NJ Patricia Ann Beal and husband Wayne of Ithica, MI Four Step-Grandchildren- Mark and Kelly Holderfield of Marion Christa and Joe Lingle of Marion Casey and Chrissy Holderfield of Marion Dylan and Meghan Holderfield of Marion Several Great Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren Step-Sons- Jack and Kay Holderfield of Marion James and Doris Holderfield of Marion Joe and Marsha Holderfield of Marion Several Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son- Barry Lynn Wieland, grandson- Joel Wieland, two brothers- Charles Randall Francis and William Francis Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Jason McKinnies officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
