Margret Carlile

Margret Alice Carlile, 69, passed away on Monday, June 02, 2008 at 11:20 A.M. at her home in Marion. Margret was born May 19, 1939 the daughter of Fred and Abigail (McCarthy) Serviss in West Lafayette, Indiana. She married Thomas Carlile on May 10, 1962 in Watseka, Illinois and together they have shared over 46 years of marriage. Margret was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marion. She retired in 2005 as the Circulation Dispatcher for the Daily Herald newspaper in Arlington Heights. Survivors include: Husband Thomas Carlile of Marion Five Sons; Bradley Carlile of Marion Nathan Carlile of Gurnee, Illinois Alan Carlile of Carol Stream, Illinois Jordan Carlile of Chicago, Illinois Douglas Carlile of Newport News, Virginia Three Grandchildren; Taylor, Michaela and Seth Two Sisters; Mary Serviss of Lafayette, Indiana Eileen Pietron of Minot, North Dakota Brother Buddy Serviss of Indianapolis, Indiana Preceded by Her parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Marion with Rev. Cindy Bean officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Thompsonville. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, IL 62959.
