Maria L. Fisher

Herrin- MARIA L. FISHER, age 59, of Herrin, passed away at 10:38pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at her home. Maria was born in Herrin on May 18, 1952, the daughter of George H. and Louise (Debarnardi) Fisher. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Maria proudly attended and worked at Our Directions in Herrin. Survivors include three brothers- John and Joyce Fisher of Herrin, IL Steve and Angie Fisher of Del Mar, CA George Fisher and friend Kathy Paddock of Herrin, IL Five nephews- Jeff and Meg Fisher of Lebanon, IL Mark and Jill Fisher of Del Mar, CA Jonathan Fisher of Del Mar, CA Brian Fisher of Herrin, IL Christopher Fisher of Herrin, IL Four Nieces- Jill Fisher of Hurst, IL Jolene, Angie and Andrea Fisher all of Herrin, IL One great nephew- Nicholas Fisher of Lebanon, IL Maria was preceded in death by her parents, uncle- Tony Debarnardi, and two aunts- Irma Howe and Janet George. Funeral services will be held at 6pm on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin.
