Marian Lucille Triplett

Herrin- Marian Lucille Triplett, 77, of Herrin, passed away at 5:45 PM, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Herrin Hospital. Marian was born on February 17, 1934 in Herrin to Thurmond & Hazel (Lindsay) Gregge. She married Billy Joe Triplett in 1951 in Williamson County. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1966. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and going to Bingo with her sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include- Daughter- Sandra Orendoff and husband Virgil of Carterville Daughter- Vickie Delso and husband Arnold of Carterville Daughter- Pamela Cole and husband Tom of Herrin Son- Bill Triplett and wife Paula of Herrin Son- Theodore Triplett and companion Gina of West Frankfort Daughter- Kelly Serati of Herrin Fourteen Grandchildren Twenty-four great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter- Cathy Allsopp, three grandchildren, one brother and three sisters. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
