Marilyn K. Kondoudis

Benton- MARILYN K. (FURLOW) KONDOUDIS, age 56, of rural Benton, passed away at 3:00am on Friday, March 12, 2010 at her home in rural Benton. Marilyn was born in Christopher on March 2, 1954, the daughter of Earl and Frances (Bennett) Furlow. She was a 1972 graduate of Zeigler-Royalton High School and earned her Associates Degree. Marilyn was a member of the Eastern Star of Zeigler, the Eagles of Zeigler, and the Elks of Benton. Marilyn was an avid camper and enjoyed traveling. She loved her family and friends, whom she was known for playing jokes on. She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother that will truly be missed by all. Survivors include Son- Shane Thomas Brown and his companion Diane Derrington of rural Benton, IL Daughter- Chrissy and Dale Deweerdt of Mulkeytown, IL Mother- Frances (Bennett) Furlow of Mulkeytown, IL 3 grandchildren- Cory, Connor, and Caitlyn Deweerdt of Mulkeytown, IL Siblings- Earline Galloway of Sesser, IL Pauline Scott of Christopher, IL Ronnie Furlow of Litchefield, IL Bob Furlow of Christopher, IL Wilma Macari of Christopher, IL Many close friends and family She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents- Clarence and Lillie Fox. Graveside memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Mulkeytown Cemetery with Rev. John Overturk officiating.
