Martha Ann Levi

Marion- MARTHA ANN LEVI, age 89, of Marion, passed away at 12:23 PM, Friday, October 15, 2010 at Herrin Hospital. Martha was born in Smithland, Kentucky on December 27, 1920, the daughter of Lorenzo and Emma (Stone) Potts. Martha worked several years at Foxs Laundry in Marion, but retired in 1985 as desk clerk of the Marion Courts Motel. Martha was a member of the Marion Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading (various genres), collected bells, spending time with her family and watching professional football especially the Cowboys and Broncos. Survivors include- Three children: Henry White and wife Joann of Indianapolis, IN Don Levi and wife Nancy of Crystal Lake, IL Louise Crist of Marion, IL Four grandchildren: Landon Levi of Crystal Lake, IL Donna Boles and husband Bob of Marion, IL Jason White and wife Annette of Marietta, GA Damond Crist of Marion, IL Four Great Grandchildren Two Great Great Grandchildren and another due on her birthday Five nephews- Carlton Potts of Lafayette, IN Johnnie Potts of Greenfield, IN Stephen Potts of West Lafayette, IN James Potts of West Lafayette, IN Jerry Potts of Herrin, IL Martha was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers- Carlton, James, Johnny Potts, and two sisters- Anna Drinkard and Ollie Clark. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 18, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Bill Brandstetter and Rev. Richard Switzer will co-officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Monday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
