Mary DeMonsi

Mary DeMonsi, 96, of Marion passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 8:54 A.M. at Parkway Manor in Marion. Mary was born June 21, 1913 in Newark, New Jersey the daughter of Thomas & Anastasia (Kuchar) Ornawka. She married Frank DeMonsi on October 23, 1937 in New Jersey and together they have shared over 72 years of marriage. Mary was a homemaker, she was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, and the Altar Society. In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by; Daughter Jacqueline Hines and husband Roger of Marion Son Franklin DeMonsi and wife Lydia of Cherry Hill, New Jersey Six Grandchildren; Darren DeMonsi Kristian DeMonsi Jennifer Graul John Hines Jayne Crader Jesse Hines Five Great Grandchildren Preceded by her Parents The Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10 A.M. at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Marion with Father Thomas Flach officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
