Marion-Mary Jewell Baccus-Eddleman, 88, of Union City, Tennessee and a former Marion resident passed away7:30 P.M., Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, Tennessee.
She was born September 14, 1916 in Johnson County to Ovid & Pearl (Prewitt) Gurley. She married Herman Baccus on September 28, 1938 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He died September 28, 1972. She later married Leo Eddleman on July 8, 1977 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1990.
She was a supervisor at Smoler Brothers in Herrin before she and Herman moved to Tennessee in the late 1960s to retire. She was a member of Mt. Manuel Methodist Church in Samburg, Tennessee. She was a cancer survivor.

Great Niece: Jackie Dudley of Murray, KY.
She was preceded by her parents, husbands and step son Elmer Baccus.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Schell officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Wednesday.
