Mary Juliaette Moore Herrin-Mary Juliaette Moore, 76, died 5:55 P.M., Wednesday, December 24th at her residence. Mary Juliaette was born May 2, 1927 in West Frankfort to Fred & Dorothy (Stewart) Webb. She married Ben Eugene Moore on April 11, 1947 in West Frankfort. He survives. She was a retired school teacher. She taught 8th grade English at Herrin Junior High School. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Marion. She had a passion for her family, reading, sewing and traveling around the country with her husband after retirement. Survivors Include: Husband: Ben Eugene Moore of Herrin Daughter: Kathryn Wilham of Seiquamish, WA. Two Sons & Daughter In Laws: Russ & Jane Moore of Energy Micky & Linda Moore of Champaign, IL. Six Grandchildren: Alesia Alonso & husband Gary of Hermosa Beach, CA. Mary Moore of Urbana, IL. Amileth Brooks & husband Chad of Benton, KY. Nicholas Moore of St. Louis, MO. Thomas Moore of Champaign, IL. Adrienne Moore of Champaign, IL. One Great Grandchild: Morgan Alonso of Hermosa Beach, CA. Brother & Sister In Law: Jimmy & Grace Webb of Sacramento, CA. Sister In Law: Mina Webb of Cody, WY. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Earl, Fred, Walter & Pat Webb. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Private Graveside Services will be at a later date at Webb Cemetery south of Marion. The family request memorial donations to the Herrin Middle School Library or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Memorial envelopes are available at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
