Mary L. Snyder

Marion- MARY LOUISE SNYDER, age 79, of Marion, passed away at 8:07pm on Tuesday May 31, 2005 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Mary was born on January 15, 1926 in Herrin, to John and Josephine (Columbo) Moroni. She married William E. Snyder in Herrin on August 3, 1946. He survives in Marion. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Herrin. Survivors include- Husband- William E. Snyder- Marion, IL Daughter- Mary Jane (and husband Steve) Piper- Charlotte, NC Son- John (and wife Lee) Snyder- Wildwood, MO 6 grandchildren- Kristin (and husband Scott) Clark- Wheaton, IL Jeff Piper- Chicago, IL Michael Piper- Minneapolis, MN William Snyder- Columbia, MO Matthew Snyder- Columbia, MO Nicholas Snyder- Wildwood, MO 1 great grandchild- Samantha Jane Clark- Wheaton, IL 1 brother- Gene Moroni- Herrin, IL 2 nephews- James Paul Moroni and Thomas Moroni 2 nieces- Cynthia Turner and Nancy Gouge Preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to express a special thank you to the ICU staff at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday June 4, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Friday June 3, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, with a prayer service being held at 6pm. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Renovation Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
