Energy Mary Lou Sackman, 73, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 12:40 P.M. at Helia Nursing Care Center in Carbondale.
Mary Lou was born January 13, 1933 to George L. & Rena (Cox) Phillips) in Marion. She married William Sackman on June 26, 1981 and together they have shared over 25 years of marriage. He survives in Energy.
Mary Lou retired from Olin Manufacturing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her hobbies were cooking and crocheting.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marion with Pastor Mark Surburg officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
