Mary Louise Sherertz

Mary Louise Sherertz, 84, passed away on Thursday, June 05, 2008 at 4:30 A.M. at Whispering Oaks in Marion. Mary was born November 27, 1923 the daughter of Troy A. & Nancy Jane (Hayes) Sherertz in Pittsburg. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Chapter #250 of Eastern Star. For over 33 years she worked as a clerk typist for the U.S. Forest Service, Crab Orchard Wildlife. Survivors include: Nephews: Gary R. Girard and wife Wanda of Conway Springs, KS David L. Girard and wife Dawn of Grand Junction, CO Thomas s. Girard and wife Linda of Overland Park, KS Niece Nancy M. Springsted and husband Roger of Pueblo West, CO Several Great Nieces and Nephews Preceded by her Parents and Sister Kathryn E. Girard Graveside services will be Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Union Grove Cemetery in Pittsburg with Rev. Frankie Pierce officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
