Mary M. Coulombe

Herrin- Mary M. Coulombe, age 83, of Herrin, passed away at 8:45pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Mary was born in Roanoke, IL on January 8, 1924, the daughter of Joe and Lois (Altorfer) Leman. Ms. Coulombe was of protestant faith. She was a retired school teacher. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother, whose sweet disposition was loved by all. Survivors include three daughters- Barbara and Steve Lohmar of Galesburg, IL Beverly and Robert Lasater of Decatur, IL Patty Russell of Carterville, IL Three sons- David and Eileen Coulombe of Skokie, IL Danny and Wanda Coulombe of Caldwell, Idaho Robert Coulombe of West Frankfort, IL Eight Grandchildren- Ryan Lasater Bethany and Joshua Dennis Christopher and Alexa Coulombe Kelli Coulombe Brittney Russell Brice Russell Tim Coulombe Amanda Coulombe Four great grandchildren- Noah Dennis Eli Dennis Izaiah Coulombe Tyler Russell Two brothers- Fred and Anne Leman of Fort Wayne, IN Richard and Rachael Leman of Roanoke, IL One sister- Marge and Truman Baumgartner of Bluffton, IN Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother- Robert Leman. Funeral services for Mary will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Shawnee Christian Nursing Home.
