Mary P. Marlow

Herrin- Mary P. Marlow, 89, of Herrin died at 2:35 P.M., Monday, May 21, 2001 at Herrin Hospital. Mary was born on December 13, 1911 in Herrin to Caesar & Josephine (Calcaterra) Marlow. She worked 38 years as a lab technician for Abbott Laboratories in Waukegan, IL. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Herrin, the Daughters of Mary, the Herrin Senior Citizens, and the Abbott Travel Club. Survivors: Sister- Louise F. Marlow- Herrin Niece- Sandra Followell- Memphis, TN Two Great Nieces: Kimberly & husband Adam Lancaster- Memphis, TN Robin & husband Cort Winsett- Memphis, TN Two grt grt nieces: Ashleigh & Caitland Two grt grt nephews: J.R. & William Her parents, one brother; Stephen Marlow, and a sister in law; Gladys Woodford Marlow preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the San Carlo Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
