Mary Ruth Odom

Mary Ruth Odom, 75, died Friday, December 12, 2003 at 3:30 A.M. at her home. Mary was born August 05, 1928 to Jesse James and Irva (Groves) Boles in Marion. She married Teddie Lee Odom on September 22, 1945 in Oceola, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1985. Mary was a homemaker and attended Center Baptist Church. She loved to work in her garden planting flowers. Survivors include: Three (3) Sons Roger Odom and wife Leslie of Pittsburg Keith Odom and wife Sharon of Marion Jeff Odom and wife Gayle of Pittsburg Two (2) Daughters Marsha Huff and husband Rex of Crab Orchard Deanna Beth Odom of Crab Orchard Eight (8) Grandchildren Seven (7) Great-Grandchildren Two (2) Sisters Gertrude Tanner of Marion Nathalie Williams of Marion Preceded by: Parents, Infant Son and One (1) sister Shirley Norman Funeral services will be Sunday, December 14, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Sam White officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
