Mary Theresa Neill

Marion Mary Theresa Neill, 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 3:15 P.M. at her sons home surrounded by her family. Mary was born July 23, 1937 in Chicago, the daughter of Thomas & Norean (Stinson) Murphy. She married George Edward Neill, Sr. on June 25, 1955 in Mississippi and together they shared over 33 years of marriage until his death on March 1, 1989. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired CMA Nurse, having worked in several different hospitals and nursing homes. She is survived by: Daughter Catherine McIntosh and her husband Phillip, Sr. of Marion Son George Neill, Jr. and wife Roberta of Paducah, Kentucky Son Tom Neill, Sr. of Marion Daughter Maria Thomas and husband Joseph of Marion Son - Anthony Neill and wife Melissa of Montgomery, Illinois Step-Son Richard Neill, Sr. and wife Debra of Ashland City, Tennessee 34 Grandchildren 35 Great Grandchildren Brother Thomas Murphy and wife Marsha of Denver, Colorado Special Friend Charles Huffman, Sr. of Romeoville, Illinois Preceded by Parents, Husband, Son William Neill, Sr., Daughter-in-law Christina Neill, Two Great Grandchildren Angel Cagle and Steven Boyt. The funeral mass will be Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11 A.M. at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Marion with Reverend Monsignor Thomas D. Flach officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 8 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. The prayer service will be at 4:30 P.M. Burial will be on Tuesday in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip, Illinois. Watch the Video Tribute
