Herrin- MATTHEW ANTHONY OLIVAS-WILSON, age 23, of Herrin, passed away at 1:29PM on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Herrin Hospital.
Matthew was born on March 11, 1985, the son of Christina Wilson and Arthur R. Olivas. He attended the Christian Life Center. Matthew loved the outdoors, motorcycles, four-wheelers, collecting knives and anything to do with music. He was previously employed by Southside Lumber in Herrin.

Matthew will be greatly missed by his family and many friends from Southern Illinois all the way to the West Coast.
A "Going Away Party" to celebrate Matthew's life will be held at 1:00pm on
Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Joseph Doss
will officiate services. A time of gathering will be held from 11:00am until
the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to continue the remembrance and fellowship time at the Herrin City Park immediately following services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners. Envelopes
